Drivers traveling on Interstate 80 in the Verdi area and Sparks will encounter lane reductions and ramp closures next week as the Nevada Department of Transportation conducts routine bridge inspections.
In the Verdi area, intermittent single-lane closures are scheduled from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 8 through June 11 as crews inspect multiple Interstate 80 bridges crossing the Truckee River and nearby railroad tracks. Lane reductions will affect only one direction of traffic at a time.
On June 8, lanes will be reduced eastbound between Mogul and Boomtown. Westbound lanes at Gold Ranch will be reduced June 9, followed by eastbound lane reductions at Gold Ranch on June 10. On June 11, westbound lanes will be reduced between Mogul and Boomtown…
