EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV) — The Evansville Otters rallied from an eight-run deficit to defeat the Mississippi Mud Monsters in a marathon game that ended under Frontier League Sudden Death rules.
Mississippi jumped ahead 3-0 in the first inning and extended their lead to 9-1 after six straight batters reached base in the third. The Mud Monsters led 10-2 heading into the bottom of the fifth before Evansville began its comeback.
