Driver arrested after allegedly crashing into Castro parklets, business, then leaving

A 30-year-old Oakland man has been arrested in connection with a crash that sent a vehicle into parklets and a Castro District business late last month, police said. Kejwine Patts was arrested Friday after investigators identified him with assistance from members of the public and follow-up investigative work, police said.

The San Francisco Police Department responded at about 1:48 a.m. May 31 to reports of a vehicle collision involving a building on the 400 block of Castro Street, near 17th Street. When they arrived, officers found a sedan abandoned at the scene.
