BATTLE CREEK, Mich. (WOOD) — A Battle Creek nonprofit has a new cafe meant to support recovery programming and provide a safe place to meet.
Recovery Grounds Cafe is inside the Alano Clubon W. Territorial Road near 20th Street. Volunteers and employees serve coffee and light snacks.
For Anita Phares, it’s a way to give back. Two years ago, she joined a recovery program.
