PORTAGE, Mich. — Drivers on South Westnedge Avenue should expect lane shifts, temporary traffic signals and an upcoming road closure as work continues on the South Westnedge Avenue Reconstruction Project.
Beginning Monday, the southbound lane of South Westnedge Avenue between Centre Avenue and the traffic signal at Portage Central Middle School will be shifted into the center left-turn lane, according to the City of Portage.
The change will allow crews to replace the existing trail, city officials said.
