CLIVE, Iowa — Authorities say an individual was rescued from a creek in Clive.
The Clive Fire Department says crews were called to the Campbell Recreational Area around noon Friday on a report of a water rescue after someone had jumped from a bridge. Clive Fire Chief Garcia says a few individuals had jumped off the bridge, and one had become stuck in the water of Walnut Creek.
Upon arrival, Chief Garcia says first responders were able to put a life jacket on the kid and then used ropes to pull them out of the water to safety.
