Jackson animal rescue says fourth burglary adds to growing losses

JACKSON – The Animal Rescue Fund of Mississippi is reporting another theft, marking the fourth recent burglary at the Jackson animal rescue.

According to ARF, the latest incident happened around 5:42 a.m. The rescue said the person stole a brand-new window air conditioning unit that had been donated by a supporter.

ARF said the person also attempted to take an older window unit from a trailer used by employees for breaks, meals and storage. The rescue said the older unit had a large wasp nest inside and was not taken, though a coffee pot was damaged during the incident…
