More than two years after part of the historic George Ranch was sold for development, the first homes are now officially going on sale.
Johnson Development announced Thursday that pre-sales and model homes are underway at The George, a new master-planned community planned for roughly 4,000 homes on former George Ranch land in Fort Bend County.
The project sits on approximately 1,500 acres purchased from the George Foundation, the charitable organization that oversees the 20,000-acre George Ranch, one of Texas’ oldest continuously operating ranches.
