Little Rock-Fox firefighters respond to two business fires

The Little Rock-Fox Fire Protection District put out two fires at businesses Thursday afternoon and early Friday morning.

The first happened Thursday at a woodworking shop in the 3000 block of Eldamain Road. Fire officials say it was started by a cigarette butt that caused the bottom of the building’s wall to smolder, leading to some fire spread inside the wall.

Fire crews broke into the wall and put out the fire, which caused less than an estimated $10,000 in damage…
