Alderman Lamont Westmoreland invites residents to a night of entertainment and community at Movie Night, a free community event happening on Saturday, June 20 starting at5 p.m. at Cooper Park – 8701 W. Chambers St.
The outdoor event will kick off with live music, traveling beer garden, popcorn, ice cream, and food trucks will also be available in conjunction with the beer garden. The first 100 servings of popcorn and ice cream at the event will be complimentary!
At approximately 7:30 p.m., just after sunset and just south of the pavilion, the featured movie Mrs. Doubtfire will be shown under the stars. The film, starring Robin Williams, tells a story about a divorced actor who is willing to go to any lengths to get his children back, even posing as a matronly Scottish housekeeper…
