The Conroe ISD Board of Trustees sent a strong message to employees and the public on Tuesday that it will not tolerate misconduct against students.
The board authorized Superintendent David Vinson to update the district’s safety and security policy to improve how misconduct is reported and ensure that background checks are done for all employees, contractors, subcontractors and volunteers. Vinson is to have a proposed policy, in line with tougher state laws, ready for the board to consider at its meeting June 16.
