BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — A Boise man has been sentenced to 70 years in prison for rape after being sentenced to life in prison just one month ago.
22-year-old Isaiah Williams will now spend life plus 70 years in prison for two separate trials involving two victims whom he met through Snapchat. Williams invited them to his apartment near Boise State University under the pretense of a casual hang out. Once in his apartment, Williams sexually assaulted them.
Williams was a corrections officer with IDOC at the time, but he lied to his victims, telling them that he was a police officer. The case for which Williams was sentenced in May involved a minor victim under the age of 16. The state successfully argued that Williams would continue to be a risk to the community should he ever be released, saying he had “predatory behavior.”…
