MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — A man was arrested Friday after allegedly threatening hospital staff with a knife in Montgomery County, according to the Montgomery County Department of Police (MCPD).
Police said officers were alerted to reports of a man threatening Shady Grove Hospital staff around 2:30 p.m. in the 9900 block of Medical Center Drive.

Officers attempted to arrest the man, but he ran away, resulting in officers deploying their tasers, but they failed to make contact with him.
