HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WAFF) – Nearly a ton of trash is now out of a Tennessee River tributary after a cleanup near Huntsville’s U.S. Space and Rocket Center.
Tennessee Riverkeeper says volunteers removed about 1,976 pounds of litter and debris from McDonald Creek and the Space & Rocket Center grounds on Friday. McDonald Creek flows into the Tennessee River.
