JOHNSTON, R.I. (WPRI) — As Thornton Elementary School in Johnston gets ready to close for good, the staff gathered Thursday to celebrate its longest-serving principal.
Louise Denham has been an educator for nearly 40 years, and she’s a longtime fan of WPRI 12, so 12 News anchor Mike Montecalvo stopped by to surprise her during one of her last days.
