BANKS TWP., Pa. – A 19-year-old woman died in an early morning car crash Saturday in Banks Township, just outside Junedale.
Emergency dispatchers said the crash was reported at 12:14 a.m. on Main Street, between Lincoln Circle and Garfield Street.
The Carbon County coroner said the woman was a passenger in the vehicle when it left the roadway and struck several trees before coming to rest on its side. The woman was pronounced dead on the scene just after 1:40 a.m…
