JOHNSTON, R.I. (WPRI) – A motorcyclist was killed in a crash in Johnston this afternoon.
The accident occurred at approximately 1:30pm in the area of 2442 Hartford avenue. Preliminary investigation indicated that a GMC Sierra 2500 towing a flatbed trailer collided with a motorcycle driving eastbound.
Johnston Police identified a 38 year old who was operating the motorcycle suffered serious injuries and later died at Rhode Island Hospital. The motorcyclist has not been named at this time. The driver of the truck was cooperating with investigators…
