A fundraising campaign has been launched to help a woman recovering after being injured in a freak accident in downtown St. Paul last month.
The woman, identified on GoFundMe as Veronica, was attending the Downtown Block Party at Mears Park on May 30 when a mature linden tree fell, striking her.
Veronica’s injuries were not life threatening, but required a stint in hospital, and the fundraiser says the “physical, emotional, and financial impact has been significant.”
“Since the accident, Veronica has been dealing with pain, limited mobility, medical appointments, recovery needs, and the challenges that come with healing from a traumatic event,” the page reads…
