A violent two-vehicle crash in the Town of Lockport left two people seriously injured Saturday after a passenger car slammed into the rear of a van and became lodged underneath it, trapping occupants inside and prompting a large-scale rescue effort.
According to the Niagara County Sheriff’s Office, emergency dispatchers received multiple reports of a serious motor vehicle accident at the intersection of South Transit Road and Rapids Road.
