Ben Beddoes has a stormy pattern taking over the region

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – We’ve enjoyed some dry weather over the past several days but that’s all going to come to an end starting Monday as showers and thunderstorms take over the region.

Mostly cloudy skies will be around for the evening and overnight as we see some scattered showers and thunderstorms very late into the overnight. It will be a muggy night with lows in the upper 60s to around 70.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms will be with us to start Monday with activity turning widespread late in the morning into the afternoon. Some storms could produce locally heavy rainfall and could lead to local high water issues. Highs will only be 75-80 degrees as it stays humid. Scattered showers may linger into the evening with a little bit of a lull overnight. Lows will be in the upper 60s to around 70 again…
