JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – The City of Jackson honored civil rights leader James Meredith at a commemoration dinner Saturday night, recognizing his impact on the movement and marking the 60th anniversary of the March Against Fear.
During the event, Meredith received a ceremonial key to the city.
