A Cottage Grove man was jailed following a vehicle theft and reckless incidents on Friday.
A Douglas County Sheriff’s Office report said at approximately 8:15 p.m. a victim contacted dispatch and said that 39-year-old Jeremy Farris had stolen a car while it was left in running in the driveway of a home in the 100 block of Rainey of Drain. The resident said he knew that Farris was not supposed to be there.
