A free workshop aimed at helping southwest Michigan landowners identify and manage invasive plant species is set for June 24 at the W.K. Kellogg Experimental Forest, 7060 N. 42nd St., Augusta.
The workshop, hosted by MSU AgBioResearch, will run from 1:30 to 4 p.m., according to a community announcement.
The event will focus on invasive woody and herbaceous plants, including trees, shrubs, vines and weeds, that threaten local landscapes and forest ecosystems.
