Fairlawn announces summer mosquito control, spraying starts at dusk

FAIRLAWN, Ohio — Fairlawn’s annual mosquito-control program is set to begin Tuesday and continue through September, with city officials encouraging residents to take precautions to reduce mosquito breeding areas and protect themselves from insect bites during the summer months.

Mosquito fogging will begin at dusk and continue into the early morning hours, typically ending by 1 a.m., according to the Fairlawn Department of Public Service.
