Brooke Hogan, daughter of wrestling legend Hulk Hogan, expressed concerns following her father’s passing on July 24, 2025. The WWE icon, whose real name was Terry Gene Bollea, died at age 71 from cardiac arrest at his Florida home.
In the days after his death, Brooke reached out to the Clearwater Police Department to inquire about an autopsy, which officials explained would be determined by the Medical Examiner. Her worries reportedly stemmed from claims that her father had undergone a “botched” surgery, a detail acknowledged by the police officer she spoke with. Brooke also requested access to any blood work performed on her father during his final days.
On August 21, police invited Brooke to meet with them to help dispel rumors and clarify public speculation surrounding Hulk Hogan’s death. After a thorough investigation-including reviews of medical records, witness statements, surveillance footage from the residence, and a visual examination of Bollea’s body-authorities ruled the death natural, with no evidence pointing to criminal activity.
Hogan suffered cardiac arrest at home and was transported to Morton Plant Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 11:17 a.m. Investigators concluded their report by stating there was no indication of foul play involved in his passing.
Hulk Hogan is survived by his third wife, Sky Daily, whom he married in 2023; his children Brooke and Nick from his first marriage to Linda Claridge; and two grandchildren.
In the months following his death, Brooke spoke candidly about her choice to exclude herself from her father’s will-a decision she now regrets. During an appearance on the Hollywood Raw Podcast, she explained that her motivation wasn’t financial but rather a desire to have a voice and a “seat at the table.”
She revealed that fear played a significant role in her decision, citing concerns for her personal safety and that of her family. Brooke described feeling surrounded by individuals she believed to be harmful to her father and herself, leading her to distance herself to avoid creating conflict that might put her in danger.
While the Hogan family continues to navigate this difficult chapter, Brooke’s reflections shed light on the complexities behind her decisions during an emotionally challenging time.
