CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — A man is facing charges after a woman was fatally struck at an intersection near the Elizabeth neighborhood in Charlotte, police say.
On Thursday, June 4, around 7:35 a.m., police responded to a vehicle collision involving a pedestrian in the 1700 block of East 3rd Street and Queens Road.
When police arrived, officers located a Honda CR-V with front-end damage and a pedestrian, later identified as 38-year-old Katherine Lamberth, lying unresponsive in the roadway.
Lamberth was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Later that day, she succumbed to her injuries…
