LA VERGNE, TN (WKRN) — A busy intersection on the border of La Vergne and Smyrna has gotten a major safety upgrade.
Leaders held a ceremony Monday afternoon to officially activate a new traffic signal at the crossroads of Murfreesboro Road and Jefferson Pike.
The hope is that the new traffic signal will help the traffic flow at this corridor and also improve safety. La Vergne city leaders told News 2 there is a long history of crashes at this intersection.
