SWAT raid on First North Street apartments nets crack, fentanyl and loaded guns

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — The Syracuse Police Department Special Investigations Division and the SWAT team recovered drugs and weapons at two apartments in a multi-family home on First North Street.

Syracuse Police called the execution of the search warrant at the apartments “high risk.” The operation, which occurred at the end of April, was part of an ongoing narcotics operation.

The police said the investigation focuses on the sale of drugs by Notoris Jackson, 50, and William Sherman, 39. Both suspects are from Syracuse. The two of them are facing multiple felony charges…
