WISCONSIN — Wisconsin is preparing to welcome its first Buc-ee’s location after the company announced plans for a major travel center in Oak Creek along Interstate 94 south of Milwaukee. The project will mark Buc-ee’s entry into Wisconsin and its continued expansion into the Upper Midwest.
While the Oak Creek location will serve one of the busiest transportation corridors in the state, several other regions could potentially support additional Buc-ee’s locations if the Texas-based travel center chain decides to expand further in Wisconsin.
Although no additional Wisconsin stores have been announced, the company’s expansion strategy provides clues about where future locations could logically be built.
