COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) – The 11 Alert Weather Team recorded the first day above 90 degrees on Sunday, kicking off an early taste of summer heat across the Pikes Peak region. As temperatures climb, many families are looking for easy ways to cool down, and one popular stop was the splash pad at John Venezia Park.
