Salem man, 64, arrested for alleged domestic violence, manufacturing guns

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A 64-year-old Salem man was arrested during a domestic disturbance investigation on Sunday, authorities said.

Just before 6:30 a.m., the Salem Police Department said they responded to a home off of Oxford Street SE and located Jeffrey Boyer, who was taken into custody without incident.

Police said Boyer was wanted for a prior strangulation incident hours earlier.
