Motorcyclist dies after dog runs into roadway in Madera County, CHP says

MADERA COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A motorcyclist died Friday after a dog ran into the roadway in Madera County, the California Highway Patrol said.

At around 6:05 p.m., officers were called to the area of Avenue 7 and Road 35 for a solo vehicle crash involving a motorcycle.

Upon arrival, officers talked to the motorcyclist, who at the time was alert and conscious. The rider told officers that he was traveling eastbound on Avenue 7 when a dog ran into the roadway…
