ANDERSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) – Anderson County EMS is asking the budget committee for more resources after a year of record call volume and increased strain on the system.
The department had 667 Code White events in 2025, an increase of 92 from 2024. A Code White occurs when every advanced life support ambulance in the county is tied up at the same time.
