Employee shot at Hermitage gas station, Metro police say

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — A man was taken to a hospital on Monday night after he was shot outside a gas station along Lebanon Pike, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department.

According to the MNPD, the shooting was reported just after 9:30 p.m. in the 3900 block of Lebanon Pike. An employee at the Mapco gas station was reportedly involved in an altercation with a group of people inside the store when one of them shot him.

The employee was taken to TriStar Skyline Medical Center with serious, but not life-threatening injuries.
