Two major festivals bring street closures to Syracuse this weekend

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — Two popular annual events are returning to Syracuse this weekend, bringing road closures and parking restrictions to parts of downtown.

The Polish Scholarship Fund hosts its annual Polish Festival in and around Clinton Square Friday through Sunday, June 12 to 14.

Street closures begin at 6 a.m. Friday, June 12 and remain in effect until 7 a.m. Monday, June 15:

  • Erie Boulevard West, between S. Clinton and S. Franklin streets
  • S. Clinton Street, from W. Genesee to W. Washington streets
  • No parking will be allowed on the north curb line along the Amos Building.
