Syracuse, N.Y. – Former tenants who lived in the Skyline Apartments when it was owned by Tim and Troy Green can apply for a piece of the $800,000 settlement the Greens agreed to pay in a class-action lawsuit.
Notices of the settlement will be mailed Tuesday to former tenants by CPT Group of Irvine, Calif., the court-appointed administrator. Former tenants have until Aug. 8, 2026, to file claims.
The Greens’ company, Green Skyline Apartments, agreed to the settlement to compensate former tenants for squalid conditions at the high-rise building at 753 James St. Several former tenants represented by Legal Services of Central New York filed a class-action lawsuit in 2021.
