Excessive heat on the way in Borderland

It begins!! We have officially activated the “Misery Meter of 2026.” Our high climbed to 103 today, the first of the year.

TONIGHT:  The skies will be partly cloudy early in the evening with the slightest chance of a couple of drops here and there.  Most “drops” would evaporate before they hit the ground.  Overnight, the skies will turn clear, and the winds will be light out of the south-SE 5-10 mph.  The low will drop to 76.
