JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – Ward 7 Councilman Kevin Parkinson wants to create a community code enforcement volunteer pilot program to address vacant homes, overgrown lots and dilapidated properties.
Under the plan, residents, neighborhood associations and community groups would identify, document and report code violations.
