STONE COUNTY, Mo. — Stone County deputies report that four people were rescued after being stranded in the upper James River on Monday, June 8.
According to a Stone County Sheriff’s Office social media post, the incident occurred on Monday evening, when two Stone County sergeants joined several agencies to locate the individuals.
The sheriff’s office says the two sergeants used their jet boat during the event.
