AMHERST, NY — A fire at the ARMOR-IIMAK plant in Amherst caused extensive damage to one of the plant’s chemical rooms.
A fire alarm was activated at the plant around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday afternoon, multiple fire companies and hazmat teams were called to fight the fire.
