NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — A Summerville man has been arrested in connection with a domestic violence incident reported last month in North Charleston, according to police.
Officers with the North Charleston Police Department responded May 15 to the 2500 block of Fassitt Road after receiving a call from a concerned individual who reported hearing loud banging and a woman repeatedly yelling “stop” for about an hour, according to authorities.
When officers arrived, they spoke with a woman who said her ex-boyfriend, 21-year-old Jackari Kalib Coaxum-Cooper, had assaulted her. The victim told police that Coaxum-Cooper physically attacked her and took her cellphone to prevent her from contacting law enforcement…
