LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – Titan Investments, a Colorado-based developer, has opted to scrap a proposed seven-story student apartment complex at the corner of Woodland Avenue and East High Street, according to a report from the Lexington-Herald Leader.
An official with the company told the Herald-Leader that “there was just so much animus” from neighbors in the area, especially at a May meeting held at Woodland Christian Church.
The complex would have housed 55 units and 260 bedrooms but several buildings housing businesses such Sassy Blue, Dahlus Fudge and ThunderKats Skate Shop would have been demolished for the project, according to the Herald-Leader…
