Canadian company Ray-Mont Logistics and the Alabama Port Authority have announced that Ray-Mont will open a new shipping facility in Mobile, its third in the U.S. and its first on the Gulf Coast.
The operation could have a substantial impact on business at the Port of Mobile. According to information released Tuesday by the port authority, the facility could add “approximately 60,000 TEUs of annual export volume” once its first phase is fully operational.
