ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The Albuquerque Public Schools district is inviting families and children from all over the metro to one of 17 different parks for a free lunch and a story.
Now through mid-July, APS’s Story Time in the Park program will host free reading events every weekday. Right around lunchtime at city and county parks all throughout the metro, organizers will read a book out loud to kids while they enjoy their food. Then, at the end, those kids will get to take a copy of that book home with them.
