DENVER (KDVR) — A woman was arrested after allegedly kidnapping a 3-year-old in Greeley on Monday, according to a press release from the Greeley Police Department on Tuesday.
On Monday, around 6:20 p.m., Greeley officers responded to the Bears Village Apartments after reports were made about a missing 3-year-old girl. Her mother reported that she was last seen at a playground around the corner at around 4:30 p.m.

Greeley police began to search for the girl in the nearby area using methods including:
- Door-to-door searches
- A reverse 911 in a five-mile radius
- Search drones
- Social media alerts
- A K-9 unit
- Mutual aid with the University of Northern Colorado Police Department
Around 7:15 p.m., police received a report from a person stating that the girl was seen walking with an adult woman in an alley near Cranford Place. Onyx from the K-9 unit confirmed the girl’s scent in the alley, police reported.
Multiple other people reported seeing the woman and child in the area, and officers were able to locate them in the 1400 block of 15th Street around 7:45 p.m…
