PUNTA GORDA — University of Florida students studying architecture and landscape architecture had a crack at developing the long vacant city market place property in downtown Punta Gorda for a project.
The 5.42-acre parcel, vacant since Hurricane Charley in 2004, is owned by PGI Marketplace LLC of Naples. It was recently listed for $12 million.
