Buffalo man accused of robbing 7-Eleven with knife after allegedly trying to pay with counterfeit money

AMHERST, NY — A Buffalo man is facing multiple charges after police say he allegedly robbed a 7-Eleven in Amherst with a knife.

Jaidarius Jackson, 23, has been charged with Robbery in the 1st Degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 4th Degree, Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle in the 1st Degree, Possession of a Forged Instrument in the 1st Degree, Criminal Possession of a Stolen Property in the 3rd Degree, Unlawfully Fleeing a Police Officer in the 3rd Degree, and numerous vehicle and traffic charges.

According to Amherst Police, officers responded to 2159 Niagara Falls Boulevard after receiving a report of an armed robbery. A victim allegedly told officers that a male tried to use counterfeit money to make a purchase before he brandished a knife a stole money from the register…
