Palm Project provides daily essentials to thousands of Baldwin County students

BALDWIN COUNTY, Ala. (WKRG) – A program in Baldwin County is helping students succeed both inside and outside of the classroom.

New transloading facility coming to the Port of Mobile

The Palm Project is a countywide initiative that provides Baldwin County public school students in need with daily essentials, allowing them to focus more on their education.

“62% of our students receive free or reduced lunch,” Palm Project Executive Director Terry Burkle said. “We have a lot of students who are in need.”

Some items they provide to students in need include personal hygiene products, school supplies, new clothing and shoes, food and more…
