The Coffee Movement Set To Open Second New Chinatown Café

San Francisco specialty-coffee favorite The Coffee Movement is preparing to expand its presence in Chinatown with a new café and an immersive coffee-tasting experience. The new café is slated to open this fall at 1200 Mason Street, just steps from the company’s flagship location at 1030 Washington Street, according to The San Francisco Standard.

The new location will present a four-seat slow bar led by co-owner Reef Bessette. The intimate experience will feature an expanded pour-over menu, coffee cocktails, competition-inspired beverages, and a multi-course coffee tasting menu designed to showcase specialty coffee at the highest level.

The new café will also introduce an expanded food program, including pastries from Juniper and potential collaborations with Breadbelly.
