Rockville Pike makes Top 10 Most Passive-aggressive Roads in US list

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) – Rockville Pike came in at No.7 on the list of the Most Passive-aggressive Roads in the U.S., according to a study by American River Wellness.

In its home state of Maryland, Rockville Pike was named the top road that causes the most passive-aggressive driving.

The study, which was conducted in May 2026, surveyed more than 3,000 drivers to identify the roads and routes most likely to cause passive-aggressive driving. Behaviors included tailgating, blocking merges, brake-checking and excessive honking.
